Meet the newest members of our team – Tatanka & Bi’Shee

We’ve recently had an encounter of the four-legged kind! A couple of warm and fuzzy buffalo wandered into the factory the other day  – this can happen when you live and work in the Wild West – and we asked them to join our team.  Turns out these buffalo love to roam, so we’re planning to send them along to our designer’s job sites, field trips and even vacations! We’ll track the buffalos’ wanderings across this great land of ours and beyond.  Watch with us as they send back photos and insights from their travels.

We’re learning all sorts of things about our new friends.  Wikipedia tells us that ‘bison’ is the scientific name, but buffalo is the common name.  The plural of buffalo, according to Ask.com is buffaloes, though just buffalo is sometimes used. We know one is a boy buffalo because his name is Tatanka, the Lakota tribal name for buffalo, and he told us so with a big booming bass voice. Bi’Shee gets her name from the Crow language and is easily recognizable because she wears a winsome pink bow on her tail.  Both Tatanka and Bi’Shee love to travel and spread the word about the great cabinets and the great people they’ve found at Schroll.

Here are some photos of Tatanka’s first adventures!
