How We Schroll

The photos you see throughout this website depict local kitchens, laundry rooms, entertainment centers, libraries and baths designed by Schroll designers and dealers. Like your project, each started with a simple idea, perhaps a sheaf of photos torn from magazines, and an empty space.

Schroll’s design team is eager to help you get started with your project. We invite you to visit one of our convenientĀ showrooms today or phone ahead to make an appointment with a designer.

Don’t worry if you don’t know exactly what you want. Our experienced designers are experts at discerning homeowner wants and needs and translating mere thoughts and feelings into exquisite realities.

The Design & Ordering Process

Cabinetry design starts with a discussion of your needs and wishes. What sort of style appeals to you? How will you use the cabinetry and the room? What are your particular storage needs?

Then, once your Schroll designer has your blueprints and/or room measurements in hand (and your appliance specifications if this is a kitchen project), he or she will develop a custom design for your project. Your designer will create elevations, perspective drawings and initial cost estimates for your approval. You’ll work together to make any changes necessary to assure that your new project is everything you hoped it could be. At this stage you’ll also be making decisions regarding wood selection, stain/finish options, knobs and other hardware, countertops and colors.

Our designers use custom design software to create precise floorplans, elevations and even perspective drawings so you can see in advance how your cabinetry will look.

Upon your final approval, your designer will ask you to sign a contract and specification sheet. Schroll Cabinets requires a 50 percent downpayment before your order can be submitted to our order processing department.

Once your order arrives at the Schroll factory, it will be double-checked and confirmed. It will then be scheduled for production. At this time your designer can advise you of your projected cabinet delivery week. As your delivery week draws near, your designer will call you with a specific shipping date.

Your Schroll cabinets, carefully packed and protected, will arrive in a Schroll delivery truck. Please plan on storing them in a heated indoor area until they can be installed.

Remember, every Schroll cabinet is custom made. The manufacturing process typically takes about six weeks or so from the time you sign the purchase contract, but it can take ten to twelve weeks during peak production times. Please allow sufficient time in your construction schedule for your cabinet delivery.
